Protege tweeter location

My 03 protege has stock tweeters so i cant put them in the snails like i usually would. i threw this picture together to show you my idea (not my hu), although my head unit sits on the bottom portion. i rather not cut into the doors or anything.

let me know what you think and please let me know if this is a horrible idea. also they would be aimed up toward the driver and passenger.

Haha that looks cool but I wouldn't do it. With the tweeters there it's almost like you're turning the high frequencies from stereo into mono.
