Hi All,

My ship has come in....literally, the CX-5 I would like is on it's way to port this Sunday. I am still getting the details from the salesman, but so far this is what he says:

CX-5 GT FWD
White Mica
Sand Interior
Auto Dimming Mirror with Compass and Homelink

Out the Door Price (Incluces Tax, Title, Tags, Destination, etc): 29340.00

By my spreadsheet, that puts me about $440 under MSRP and the same amount over invoice. Good deal?

Which dealership is offering this Out the Door Price?

If your calculations are correct, it's an "average" deal. Some do better; some worse. A lot depends on where you are and how far you are willing to travel to get a better deal. I bought mine 565 miles from home to get an "invoice" price when dealers in my area wouldn't budge off MSRP. Nice to have the engine broken in by the time I got it home!

Yes, not bad and average for a major urban area in CA. If it's precisely what you want that's a plus too.
