Power windows doesn't work when engine off.

I noticed once I turn off the engine, power windows and sun roof will not work. Is this normal for Mazda? Coming from Honda and Acura, I never had this issue. Power would still be available for a short period of time.

I keep on forgetting this and have to power up the car again.

Owner's Manual:


Engine-off power window operation
The power window can be operated for
about 40 seconds after the ignition is
switched from ON to off with all doors
closed. If any door is opened, the power
window will stop operating.
NOTE
For engine-off operation of the power
window, the switch must be held up firmly
throughout window closure because the
auto-closing function will be inoperable

Thanks will need to retest this. For some reason the sun roof didn't seem to work. I'm assuming the sun roof is consider a power window.
