Some back story... I ordered and installed the factory side rails and crossbars a couple summers ago.
Started looking for a roof box this past fall for skiing and snowboarding, but realized the hatch clearance offered by the factory rails and crossbars is only about 40” which will only fit most brand’s smallest storage boxes.
Now, I’m trying to decide whether to get something like a Yakima Timberline setup which will let me keep the factory side rails, or if I should ditch the factory setup entirely and go for something like a Rhino Rack that will use the factory side rail mounting points?
Someone on here must have this figured out.
