I'm about to place an order for some LEDs to make a lighting system that best matches the stock scheme in my P5. The stock illumination is a very warm orange which is to say the hue is more red than yellow. I'm going to place the order as soon as I make a decision.

FYI: I'm going to make 4 tubes containing 6 LEDs for each footwell (5mm 1.7V/20mA LEDs wired in series per tube) Each circuit will have a 100 ohm resistor. I'm also going to illuminate the cupholders from below (3 LEDs/ cupholder). The cupholder circuit will have it's own switch. A total of 5 circuits will be integrated by a Street Glow ANMI2 power distributer/music module. I'll wire a relay with the courtesy light and a relay with the accessories circuit so the lighting system turns on initially when the door(s) are opened and/or when key/ignition is switched on.
I'm not sure yet if it's safe to hook up this lighting system to the stock illumination dimmer. I just might like to have a separate dimmer for the LED system too.
