After spending a few hours underneath my car, I found the spot of a niggly oil leak that has been giving me issues for the last month. I found that it was coming from the oil cooler on the back side of the engine block. I want to know where I can find the gasket, or any gasket that is related to, that goes in-between the oil cooler and the block? I have looked around every where and even called some of the local dealers and none of them had what I needed or even new what I was talking about. So please help me out so I dont ruin another engine (mad)

Make one with what, with the tubed sealant stuff you get at napa? I was rather looking to buy one rather than make one as I have never done that before.... does anyone know if they sell the gasket or will a typical oil filter gasket do the trick?

if you know the material of gasket you want you can buy it at napa, and with a pencil u trace it on the material and cut it out..idk..i've used it on alot of things and never had problems..no tubed sealant crap..lol

Well, I rather just buy one as I have never made a gasket before. Here is a pic (courtesty of TWISFM's classified ad) of the gasket I need. It is the only orange rubber gasket in the picture. Does anyone know where to buy this gasket?

Well, if anyone is interested, all you need for an oil cooler gasket is a 4.99 oil filter from walmart. Just take the gasket off of the oil filter and you are good to go!

Bringing this back to life. I was in search of the same gasket. Found this link and was going to try the previously mentioned method. I checked rock auto and they have a gasket for it. Not sure if I'm allowed to put links to it or not... mods can delete if needed. https://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=3656622&cc=1416822&jnid=475&jpid=0

I haven't tried it yet, so I can't attest to it working or not. I may just try one from walmart, too.
