off fuel gauge?

Overall so far, I love my MP5. but one thing that annoys me is the fuel gauge. When I fill up it pegs like .5" beyond the full mark and then the fuel light comes on not much after I hit the 1/4 mark. Anyone else notice this? Can the dealer recalibrate it?

I'm REALLY digging deep to find something wrong with this car, it's been bulletproof so far.

Back to the fuel gauge thingy. Every car I've owned/driven has has the gauge go beyond 'F' when the tank is completely full. I'd actually think it odd to have a car not disn't show more than full.

As far as the light, I think it comes on irrespective of the gauge reading (someone will correct me if I'm wrong). On our cars the light comes on when there are approximately 2.5 gallons left in the tank. That's good to know. I've also exploited most of those 2.5 gallons, so I know that estimate is pretty accurate.
