Noisy Fan

Hi everyone,

I am new here and own a 2010 Mazda 6; recently I have noticed a loud noise when turning on the fan, as if something is stuck in the blower; I've replaced both the cabin and engine air filters, but the noise is still there. Any suggestions? The higher the fan speed, the louder the noise.

About a year ago my wife's 2010 developed a noise in the AC blower. We thought it was a leaf caught in the blower blades. She ended up taking it to the dealer and they found that some of the blower blades were broken. Had to replace the blower fan. Hope this helps you.
