I've had the notion of finding a decent 1st gen and work it over.

I think I'd shoot for something like this.

Check out the naca duct for the intake. That thing is so sweet.

I'd put diff rims on but, other than that, I like it.

There are more 1st gens I can get a hold of verses 2nd gens around here.

Thought I'd just share.

That's bern's 1st gen very nice, i think it 23 hours of labor to get that hood scoop to look right.

That hood scoop looks nice, almost like it were stock. Real subtle, and I like that.

Is that hood scoop hitting an IC, or is it just keeping engine bay temps down?

Does he have a page for his car?

thnx

Bryan Are you going to sevenstock next Saturday? I think those cars will be there.

Yeah. I was thinking about it. I'd like to head up there and check out the cars and see what Mazda is up to. :)

good job guys. :)

yep, that's Bern's 1st gen running a very nice 13bt under the hood... Custom molded TurboII hod scoop, and a bunch of Mariah body parts
(mode 4 front, headlight scoop etc etc etc)

ton of work has goen into that car.. it's beautiful...

you want more info on that particular car? go here...

Thanks for the info, rx7gslse.

Love your 1st gen. The grey looks wicked with your rims.

Looking at pics of your car, I like how the stock bumper looks. It would be a toss up between the mode 4 and the stock one. :D

When you do finally go turbo, buy a wolf! (naughty)

I bought mine a little over a month ago, and once my mechanic finishes up the engine (mainly waiting on ARP, but found some info today that might speed the process up), I'm going to drop it into my Protege.
