Guys,

I might need to get wheels and I was wondering what your opinion was.
I have a Titanium MPS at stock height.

So far I like:

OZ superleggera-http://www.wheelspecs.com/specs/wheelmodels/289

Motegi DP6 dark grey=http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=122146

Enkey RPF1-http://www.enkei.com/RacingSeriesSpecs/RPF1.html

Konig Imagine Opale-http://www.konigwheels.com/catalog_product_details.cfm?CategoryID=1&ss_id=214

BBS CV=http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=114570

Thanks for the input.

I like my Enkei's so I say the RPF1's. Mine are in the SBC finish by the way.

Those enkei's look good. I'm a sucker for the stock wheels, though. too bad they're heavier.

Those Konigs are hot.
I like the motegi because they match the car and konig because of the lip. Pirana car is HOT.
I also like the fact that OZ and enkey are light but their design is maybe too simple.
I need to find a rim that will make the car look good at stock height and size.
If I cannot find a replacement for my stock one I will just try to find a good combination between price, look, weight.

Thanks again

Dealer told $571 for 1 stock rim.
That is as much as 4 motegi or 4 konig.
I went to Belle tire and they quoted me 920 for 4 RPF1, 720 for 4 DP6 and 600 for 4 Evo5.

I'm a bit biased. I love my RPF1s but I've also been a sucker for the OZs forever. $920 for a set of RPF1s is unreal, what that store's phone number? My buddy needs some!

Thanks.

Do you guys know if we are 17X7 or 17X7.5?

Thanks

stock MSP wheels are 17x7 5x114.3 +55 offset

so if you were to get something, get at least 17x7.5 or 17x7 +48 offset

i like the RPF1's ... are they about 15lbs?

nice, you can get away with 42 offset...

and that is a good deal on those RPF1s ... based on autornd's website, they are around $1150 and that's not including shipping yet.
What the relationship betwwen the offset and the width?
I tought that the stock ones are 17X7 as well.
You guys usually put 17X7.5 so that it will be larger wih the same tires on?

I know but the problem with the RPF1 is that I am not sure if they will look good of the titanuim. Also, you have to pay $100 if you want to have center caps.

I would not even be looking at rims if it wasn't for the fact that at least one of mines is bent.

Guys, I truly appreciate all your support.

Rim Diameter: The diameter of the wheel's bead seat where the tyre sits, NOT the overall diameter of the wheel.

Rim Width:
The width of the wheel, measured from bead seat to bead seat

Off Set: The positive or negative distance from the wheel's centre line to the mounting surface of the wheel.

The 215/45/17 stock sized MSP tire can fit over a 17x7.5 rim fine. you get a slight stretch in the rubber, but it's fine.

15.2lbs for the 17x7.5" +48mm I have. Very light :)

I have no rubbing on my car with 215/45 tires, lowered about an inch past stock MSP ride height.
