New to me 04 Hatch, 2nd Mazda3

I've been driving ZX2's for the better part of the last 9 years. Got an 07 Mazda3 in 2010 that the girlfriend drove for the last two years and I got to drive it for the last few months:

But I got tired of feeling like a robot driving it and picked up a 5 speed hatch:

And then I found this terrifying creature lurking in my spare tire well:

It's not as nice [clean] as the 07, but pretty damn clean for an 04 with 133k miles (single owner too) on it. Has leather, nav, moonroof, foglights.. but no Aux-In? WTF?

I need to replace the rear-view mirror and grill which are broken. I'd like to do something with the awesome cracked dash right up by the windshield as well. The AC seems to work intermittently (fan seems to blow correctly at proper speeds).. I'd love to figure out how to wire another DVD player up to the nav and route the audio to an Aux-In on the Tape/MD. The radio and all my burned CDs from high school/junior high are not really cutting it anymore..

I don't really have many plans for it as I just don't have the time. I want to tint the windows legally (50% in this wonderful state) and get some kind of roof rack for a couple bikes. I really just want to keep the car clean and drive it forever or until I can afford a newer one.

Nice, my 05 hatch is exactly the same as yours, no AUX jack and all lol. How do you feel about the navigation?

I find it pretty useless; Google maps is faster and easier. I like that I could potentially use the screen as video output for an actual DVD player if I ever find out more info on tapping into it though.

Any plans for adding AUX in?

I've seen that, but $60 seems somewhat high for only adding AUX in. For $300 I can get that pretty sweet Eonon head unit that everyone seems to rave about.
