well...first of all...hi ! lol...

i have a 2000 protege SE...beige/gold colored... ill try to post pics soon...
well now that ive made a quick introduction ...heres my question !

i noticed my passenger floor was wet...so i pulled the carpet and saw it all rusted.. -_-" now my question is...is there any AC tube or something that passes there and might have a tiny leak or something...and 2) how can i fix it...and if go to a body shop...how much do you think they will charge me ?

I don't have an answer for you, but I do know this is a common problem in the Proteges it seems.

The ac seperates water from the air, and its supposed to drain it to the outside, you should follow the case where your evaporator is in, and ensure the hose drains to the outside...if its only surface rust, hit it with a wire brush and spray on some rust converter from eastwood on it, and you should be straight.
