Just curious, anyone have any luck with those personal gyms? SoloFlex, BowFlex, Etc, Etc? I see lots of used ones on CraigsList. I used to work-out at my company gym but my new job doesn't have one and I don't like the public gym atmosphere.

My friend has the ultimate BowFlex and swears by it.

Just curious, anyone have any luck with those personal gyms? SoloFlex, BowFlex, Etc, Etc? I see lots of used ones on CraigsList. I used to work-out at my company gym but my new job doesn't have one and I don't like the public gym atmosphere.

I would try to find a public gym you like... look around for places that are corporate gyms that are open to public, those often have a quite different atmosphere to them. I agree with Zimmer that entering a gym puts your mind into a workout mode and that's key for me. Never used a personal gym machine like that, so can't comment.

Saw a renegade miata on the highway this AM on the way to werrrrk... had the renegade miata logo which is BA. Looked like he had the racing setup.
