Merry New Year All.

Going to try my hand at frying a turkey this morning.

Frying went pretty well. Infra Red and no oil. Was pretty easy and fast. Everyone said it was great.

Thinking of doing Daytona again this year. Grass Roots Motorsports has a deal for Sat and Sun for 94 bucks. Might give that a go.

Daytona would be a blast. Ive always wanted to go to experience it. The drive home would include a run on The Dragon.

Spent the morning on a 75 mile drive with the local club on some nice roads. Came home to the smell of 4.5lbs of sauerkrwut cooking in the crockpot. Blech

Got my son a 3D printer for Christmas

Even lower end printers can be highly capable! My former coworker had a $300 monoprice printer from walmart which he managed to make amazing parts. Lots of trial and error, research, and plastic went into his learning experience. He was using some kind of vapor/acid bath to polish up the pieces and make them super smooth/glossy. Some day I may get one for myself, maybe when we move.

Well that trip back east came and went far too fast. Managed to get lots of miata time, including a cruise to the beach with my friends and their miatas. Lots of drinking occurred over the 12 days, late nights, and tons of fun. Went up to VT on the 29th during a winter storm which ended up only dropping about 8" up there rather than the original 14", but that was okay. We will be back out there for another visit in July and then maybe moving back end of the year! My fiance had a great time with all of my family and friends, and would like to be out there

Got the miata in a more heated gar
