Needing Some Help On Motor Swap

Iam Looking on getting a used motor for my mazdaspeed protege, the one i have now i plan on building a forged build when i have the cash but for now i just want to replace the motor, just what to know what cars i would be able to pull a motor from and it work. Thanks

find another 01-03 protege, that will be the easiest that way you know for a fact that your replacement will have a forged crank. The 626 and Probe all share the FS motor, I don't remember which years you have to look out for though.
