How hard exactly would it be to do the wiring for fog lights on an 02 dx protege since it doesn't come with lights already?

Not hard if you are comfortable with reading wiring diagrams and using a voltage tester. You would need to buy a simple switch (preferably, a lighted one) and run the fog light positive voltage wires to the switch (which receives voltage from a live source). The negative wire needs to be connected to a good chassis ground (or to the battery ground).
