Natural aspiration...the engine breathes on its own

The opposite is FI or forced induction...or an engine that uses something to force air into the engine

N/A also means never ending black hole money pits to track down 1 extra horsepower here and there ;)
and it means living with your head in engineering books calculating a bunch of stuff you wouldn't even need to THINK about on all bar the most wild turbo builds ;)

Name: Maximilian Bretschneider
Location: Porto Alegre, Brazil
Occupation: Part time freelance designer/Graduating
Car: 1998 Mazda 626 LX (called GLX in euro/brazil) 2.0 liter i4 FS-DE
Other projects: Want to build a drift car. Price wise, i will go with a Subaru Impreza 1993 to 1995 (that may sound bizarre for some in the rest of the wold, but here a miata of the same year costs 4 times the old impreza). The manitenance prices and parts are low cost around here.
Other stuff: Have owned the car for 1 year now. Plan is to build a N/A mildly tuned "FS-ZE" engine with parts from corksport and piggyback ECU. The 626 is my daily driver (tough it goes to the "touge" on the weekends, wich i spend downhilling/uphilling).
