Hi I have a question on MZ5 dealer installed remote starter.
1. Does your remote starter do a retry?
-- Mine does not. So in cold temp, say -30 celcius, I try to remote start the mz5. It cranks up the vehicle. Then it does not know if the motor has actually started. It goes through its normal 'remote start cycle' with the motor not running.. then the cycle ends.
I called the mazda dealer service dept. They told me it is normal. and that the unit does not have a 'retry' function.
Does anyone have the same issue?
