My Protege5 touch up.

Hello all. My brother moved to CA last year. My old car died not long after he left, so he left it to me. http://imgur.com/YkV7f Washed it and cleaned the head lights http://imgur.com/BGEFk. I have been driving it for about a month and I love it. He put in 120000 miles on it. A CAI, which in FL I think is silly. Its a stick thankfully. I learned earlier last year on my cousins 06 cobalt and all I can say is my brothers mazda feels like its on rails compared to the cobalt. The clutch feels old though. Im about 1 inch from the floor. How long before I have to do something about this?? Also, the hatch wont open. I hear it lock and unlock, but the handle wont open it. Any ideas why?

I undid the metal lines, pulled out the controls just enough to unscrew it. The vents also unscrew. I could of done much better if I could afford something more then cans of spray paint.

I also got really lucky at Joann's Fabrics with 1 yard of white leather for $5 out of the remnants. I used that to make a new shift boot. http://imgur.com/NSXbX Now I have a bunch of white leather.

Edit: I guess a frog got in the right fender and my painting killed it. Cant get in the fender so as I drive, dead frog smell pours in to the A/c. ****!

I'll keep a eye out for it. I have seen a handful of P5s around since I got back on the road, but no where near as clean as yours(I think I would of noticed something that clean). I mostly go on US1 to the Mazda dealership to pick up fasteners.
