What happened to this car? I grew up driving my moms 81 when it was new! 5sp 4dr silver, damn that car was tight! Could get scratch in 3rd if I really hammered it. Do these have a seperate bell on the trans? I got a 81 B2000 and its solid, but I really need a camshaft for this motor as the threads are almost gone on it. I had to locktite the nut on it so it wouldnt go loose even after the lock washer tab was bent over. Also does the valvetrain get loud after many miles? Mines sounds like a diesel idling but hums at speed. Lash is spec but maybe the shafts are worn?
