headlights work
parking lights and taillights work
fog lights work
reverse lights work too

but not the turn signals or the hazards.

i was de-passive arming my alarm (flipping dip switch 2 to factory setting);
got brain back in and went driving-- went you use turn signal and i got nothing. .

anybody have any ideas what the problem could be? i think my hazard switch on might be bad, but i don't know for sure.
i checked all the fuses and all were ok, but don't know if and/or where the relay is located to check.

Prolly the relay or the switch itself.

I hate problems like this, it is usually something really easy and it takes forever to find it!!!!!

Make sure everything is connected, re check those fuses. I would prolly buy the repair manual for a protege, it has all the wiring diagrams, and is usefull in the future.

Under da hood. :D Check that box, and then fix the alarm brain. :D

boost if you are reffering to the fuse box under the hood, i did check and all was good. also what would i need to do to "fix" the alarm brain?

pulled the center console off to check the switch.

took the 'ole p.o.s. voltmeter to it and when the switch is off
there is a reading from the harness, but when it is on there no
reading from the harness.
