how much room do you have between wheel and strut? 235s would still be slightly narrower than the 8.5in wheel. 245s just a hair wider...

i can barely slip my finger in between, most likely a 1/4 in

What is the offset of those wheels? If it's under 50mm consider getting some spacers, but not too much.

I really hate Tireack sometimes. I can't specify the dimensions of the wheel I want. They say that wheel is only listed in a 15!! :no: Plus the MT1 looks JUST like MR EVO wheels. But they don't come up for the MS3 when you look for them buy application.

Yeah, Tire Rack is kinda frustrating like that...did you try searching using the RX-8 instead? Or an Evo X or something like that? Gotta get creative! lol

Call them...they'll sell you any size/offset combination they can get. The website is just idiot proof and won't let your average consumer put "risky" setups on cars.
