That review is bulls***. W/e I'd rather more people have GTI's. That means there's more cars to smoke on the road. I've driven both, Mazda's interior is nicer in my opinion. The only thing that bugs me is that you can't get a moonroof. Unless I'm mstaken.

DSG is a great invention, but it's not a real manual. On a side note, do DSG systems rev match?

Spend $6g on an Si by slapping a Supercharger or turbo and I can guarantee you it will beat the Si in terms of power.

Style is subjective, so I'm not even going to comment on the plaid seats.

yes, it does rev match. The downshifts are pretty smooth.

Motor trend is a joke... every other auto publication I can think of rates the MS3 as top of the sport compact class. Edmunds, R&T, C&D.

except all the euro mags, which s*** all over the ms3. top gear, evo, etc.

I test drove a GTI before I bought the MS3. It was a great car. I thought I should at least check out the MS3. I drove the MS3 out of the driveway, rolled over some homeless guy!!, and never brought it back to the dealer! Well not exactly, but you get the point.
