Hi All,

Troubleshooting my 2011 Mazda 5 that is no longer blowing cold air through the rear vents. The fan appears to work (can hear it) but no air coming out. Looking at the fuse box fuse 4 (IG Key2) according to the manual is missing? I have not removed this. Is this normal for a 2011 Mazda5 Gran Touring?

Thanks,
Marc

This is for a 2012 up Mazda 5 but they might be similar to the older gen:

"IG key2" does a lot of things besides rear A/C vents

Its most likely the "Heater" (40A) fuse also might be called "Heater1" fuse. This is power to "blower relay no.2" aka rear blower motor.

FYI "Heater2" (30A) and "Heater3" (30A) are for front blower motor

If fuse is good then might be "blower relay no.2" also might be called "Blower2" should be able to swap with "blower relay no.1" or "blower1" for testing.

If the above does not work then you need a DMM and start taking things apart
