Minor Accident - now won't turn over and brakes are locked

icy road - went in ditch and hit a tree with passenger side... got car on road, damage doesn't appear that bad but car won't turn over. Towed to a friend's house and decided to push start. After sitting for a day, brakes locked up completely. Is there an accident sensor fuel shutoff? Anything else on this model that would make sense of this? There is no fluid leaking, air bags are intact, etc. Any ideas?

Check your battery connections, they might have been jarred loose.

Might have snow/ice packed into the brakes that froze, or it could be something else like the parking brake sticking.

There is a secondary collision device that will activate the brakes in the event of a collision. The idea is that the vehicle will not be shunted out of control if the driver is incapacitated. This is from the manual;

OPERATION SCENARIO (REAR COLLISION USED AS AN EXAMPLE) THE VEHICLE IS STOPPED
AFTER A COLLISION FROM THE REAR, THE HAZARD WARNING (SCR HAZARD) ACTIVATES (PRIMARY IMPACT)
THE BRAKE CONTROL (SCR BRAKE) OPERATES WITH THE LURCH FROM THE PRIMARY IMPACT
THE VEHICLE IS STOPPED

Maybe this has applied the brakes. To release the brake, the ignition must be off, the accelerator pressed and the brake pressed harder than that of the initial impact. You could try that then get the vehicle recovered if it does or doesn’t work.
