I need to replace the manual shifter in my ES because the base plate and pins are almost rusted through. Am looking on car-part.com for a replacement and want to know if a shifter assembly from a MazdaSpeed will work without any modifications. I would think so, but the guy at the Mazda parts dept. said there were three different listed. I appreciate any suggestions.
