Greetings all,

The time has come to sell my 2001 mp3. It's lightly modded and in great shape.

Price $6500 obo
Located in the Northern Virginia area


The good:

-Only 60,XXX miles
-AWR 4-2-1 header
-B&M short shifter
-Dave B gauge rings
-Mazdaspeed shirt knob
-Kartboy shift bushings
-Spool springs
-AEM short ram intake
-All original kenwood mp3 player and speakers/sub
-Polyurethane front engine mount
-No accidents/wrecks
-Just a fun little car that has been well taken care of

The bad:

-(Full Discloser)The original motor spun a bearing @ 45,000 miles and was replaced with a motor from Protege Garage almost exactly 2 years ago with 30,XXX on the new motor. A certified mazda dealer performed the swap for which I have the paperwork. I have had zero problems since.
-I lost the mp3 engine cover and the wheels have some curb rash


Overall, the car is a blast to drive, and you won't see many with this fee miles. This MP3 was loved from day 1 (I am the original owner) and I am reluctant to sell but I need something bigger.

323 Thanks for the bump.

Andrew, I am still at freddie enjoying taxpayer dollars. And, I do plan on getting something else to either replace the mazda and/or sell the lotus too and pick up a 997 or M3 or something. Leaning towards the 997 right now, but pricies are still too high on most of them, but yes, in the mean time the elise would be my only car.

Guess that means I get to stay home if it snows/rains/mists heavily =)
