OK, it's time for some real figures.
Bare in mind , my car has only 600km on it yet, but today I topped up the tank with 91 and went from Tweed Heads up the highway to Brisbane, with a lot of city driving too, then back home, all with 4 adults aboard.
My trip computer said I averaged 12.4l/100k. At one stage on the highway it was down to 11.4 and in the city got up to 12.9.
I covered 258km and my TC says I have 338k left in the tank.
Thats an unbelievable 596km out of a 76l tank, which equates to 12.7l/100.
My highway speed was 110 - 130kph.
There seems to be a big variation between different cars, I'm so lucky I got a good one.(yippy)(2thumbs)
