Mazda Connect Firmware 74.00.230A (now .324A)

I have problem with failsafe update.
I have OS VERSION: 59.00.502 EU N
I tried to update it to update it to 70.00.100
everythinmg i have done as it wqas in instruction
it crashed at the first failsafe file update

now my failsafe version is not available when i try to check it in the cmu system.
even I cannot update failsafe and cannot findf instruction what and how to update the failsafe,
if You could give me any clue what to do, a would be greatful.

Double check the instructions. If you have that OS version (59.xx.xxx), you do not need to update to a failsafe. Again, double check the instructions.

Ah, I see, my mistake. I missed that you are located in the EU.

Try contacting @ASH8 to see if they can point you in the right direction to get what you need.

I have ver 74.00.324 installed and did the apple CarPlay update on my 2016 CX-5 GT several months ago, the memory card for the NAV consantly disconnects and reconnects, recently the operating system has started randomly rebooting… what’s going on and how do I resolve?

DO in engineering menu CLEAR the AVC DIC by pressing 3 ( enter then clear) and then 2 ( enter and clear)?

I have seen in on two videos on YouTube.

I installed this firmware version and all was good for a couple hrs and then the screen rebooted. Eventually it came to a point where the screen rebooted almost every minute. Frustrating as heck for sure. However I've started watching a YT channel called Cardiax Plays who is a certified Mazda tech that has his own shop. In one of his videos titled Easy Way!!! Self diag your Mazda display he mentions that this rebooting problem could be caused by a corrupt NAV SD card. He shows a page from Mazda that lists the corrupt SD card numbers. My SD card number was one of those so I removed the card completely. System is working perfectly. You can get a new SD card if you want but I've never liked the NAV in my 2018 CX9 anyway so I won't bother. I'll just use my phone. Anyway if anyone can't seem to get their system to stop rebooting and the vehicle has the NAV option remove it and see what happens.

Shortly I will be updating the firmware in my 2021 MX-5 from 74.00.200 to the current 74.00.324A.

What I am wondering is if there are any release notes or description of bugs fixes/enhancements available anywhere that cover changes in latest and/or preceding updates since 74.00.200.

Just to make this clear as I can't edit MY old post.

You DO NOT NEED TO Use the Intermediate Firmware of 70.00.100A if your CURRENT Version is 56.00.100 or anything NEWER, that is 56.00.200, 56.00.650, 58.00.240, 59.00.100, 59.00.342A or 70.00.021.

You go straight to 74.00.324A EU N or 4A N.

For North America or NA N the Version change point is 55.00.650 NA N, or Again anything NEWER like, 55.00.753, 56.00.750, 58.00.100, 59.00.770 or 70.00.021

You go straight to 74.00.324A NA N.

74.00.324A is much more forgiving when installing and once up and running it is faster and cleaner to use than all other versions before it.
