Hey all,

First time Mazda owner and new to the forum. I just purchased a cpo Cx5 that includes 7yr/140k limited powertrain warranty. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a clear answer from the dealership on what parts are covered under this limited powertrain warranty. Does anyone have a list of what this warranty actually covers? I find it a bit suspicious that Mazda promotes this as reason to buy a CPO yet there's no pamphlet describing what's covered.

My previous experience has been with Vw cpo vehicles and there's a nice list of all the items covered by their 2yr/40k warranty. Wish Mazda had something similar...

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Canada may be different. Warranty programs vary widely from country to country...

Sounds to me like the warranty means "Limited to the powertrain".

Meaning physical hardware that makes it go.

ie. the electronic solenoid in the transmission isn't covered, but the clutches are.
