Ksport and endlinks question

So I scoured the p5 section and couldn't find a answer if the ford escape endlinks are needed for coilovers. it is only mentioned when people are doing struts and springs.
Seeing as I can adjust the height of where the endlinks connect to the Ksports, I would assume I do not need them.

thank you for clearing that up then. I do not plan to slam car so I will just buy stock replacements as my need to be replaced anyway

a few posts did mention that they were needed if dropping because of the length was shorter than stock. I did buy the fronts already Jackie and put them on
I noticed I had to put washers on though to fill in the gap as the nuts were (slotted?) At the end so couldn't turn them all the way on if that made sense.

They are the same length. The nuts are locking nuts. They are supposed to be more difficult to turn. I'd probably take those washers out and just wrench on them harder.
