keyless range

Our keyless remotes have never had very good range. Neither remote (even with new batteries) will work much past about 10 feet. Is that normal? Any way to improve it?

Yea mine is the same maybe 20' but no further and is still much shorter than other keys I have seen. The only way I believe is possible is to upgrade to an aftermarket alarm system....and obviously the viper one (the one you can unlock and lock from your cell phone). Besides that you could contact your dealer and ask.

By the way you in North Carolina or North California because I go to North Carolina a lot..my mother lives there...and I would love to meet up and drive around go to a car show look at other mazdas. I ask because where my mother is, is the car capital so there is sooooo many nice cars and car everything right around her town.
