Interesting in some XXR 527. HELP!!!

I'm interested in some XXR 527's for my protege5. The problem is the size / dimensions of the wheels and tires that I want. I'm deciding to put some falkens ziex ze-512 215/40/17. If I plan to get 17x8.25 XXR 527's, will I function well?

What's the appropriate wheel size I should get?

what is the offset ?
if the offset is too low (45 or less) you could see rubbing issues on the fenders, that also is considering if your at stock height. if dropped you will def have to roll the fenders.
