I just confirmed a rumor I heard from Ben at Horsepower Freaks..

Mazda Protege 2.0 Plug wires work on my 2004 Mx-5/Miata.

Any other parts that can be swapped? Post em here. I know hardtops from all era's fit all miatas..

Info on the wires

Sparko 9mm spark plug wires made for 2.0l Mazda Protege
works.. fits almost perfect.. boots around the top of the holes are a little loose and dont sit all the way down.. leaving some space for the elements to get in.

I dont think the NC HT fits the NB and NA Miatas. Also while the NA and NB can swap there are a couple things you have to easliy modify with the connecting pieces.

Same OEM oil filter on my 2003 Miata and my 2002 Protege 5.

The lug nuts from the Pro and Miata are interchangable .

You cannot put the lug nuts from the Miata on a 3rd gen Protege, you'll be short by 4. (hah)
