yep thats the bad thing not alot of trouble shooting when it comes to this. But it did fire right up! That made me feel kinda good about the whole motor swap. Since this was the first project Ive ever done. Thanks for all the suggestions.

HAHA I wont have put it passed them but the cyl is holding oil. And I hope they wouldnt have forgot only on that cyl. And it is the cyl that the rod went on. how much for the head?

We had a brand new miata come in for an oil leak in the back of the motor and it turned out they never put a head gasket on at the factory, it had 4k miles on it. Ran great just leaked oil.
