Easy. Maybe use search function?

Short answer: keep them on the settings that correspond to your normal settings, which is the default setting on idle speed and 6,700 for rev limiter.

Longer answer: It depends on your mods. If you have an aftermarket rear motor mount or stiffer mounts and have vibrations in the cabin, especially when your AC compressor kicks in, bump up idle rpm to +200. Works wonders.

I know of no reason to adjust rev limiter whatsoever, short of installing a full race built fully forged internals engine with racing ported heads, bigger valves and manifolds. We do not have the flow capability to benefit from higher rev limits.

You will see usable power now all the way to redline, rather than having power fall off after 5,500 rpm, but you will still want to do WOT shifts at 6,000 rpm. The last 700 rpm above that is useful headroom for flatfoot shifting or if you want to avoid a shift to 5th going through the traps at the drag strip, or if doing 3rd or 4th gear pulls if you have data logging equipment.
