there is a phillips head screw that holds the handle in the door, once removed there is a pin tab in the front (towards the motor) so lift the back part of the handle till it will slide outward. then you should see a metal rod in the opening (if you do continue reading, if you dont drop down to next paragraph) if you see rod it will have a L turn at the end, this piece will slide into the handle on the backside, (tiny hole) once in the clip has a turn that will lock it back into place . put handle back in and screw and your done.
(if clip is broken on back of handle the rod will come out again)
if you cannot find rod you will have to take entire door panel off. you will need a phillips head screw driver (longer) and a flat head. There are 5 screws holding the panel into place, as well as pop tabs on the bottom. you will have to pull it off and find the rod, once you have the rod follow directions on top paragraph.
