Hood Size?

I was In a crash a while ago as you all know and I changed my 2003 Mazda Protege5 hood out for a 2002 hood. I was wondering if there was a difference in size at all? It fits a little wierd although it could be from the crash as well but I noticed the spacing on the sides are a wider that is why I ask if there's a size difference.

2001-2003 hoods are the same Probly just need adjusting on the fenders an hood.

Pretty sure all the P5 hoods are the same...

They are the same. Something is probably tweaked from the accident. I got into an accident and had to bend back the radiator core support (by hand no less) to get my used hood to fit. The gaps with the fender were okay, but the point is that these cars are very easily tweaked.

You probably need too adjust your fenders. You can loosen the 10mm bolts on top of the fenders and move it around quite a bit until you are satisfied with fitment. A good idea is too stick something between the hood and fenders so that they become evenly spaced.
