HELP!! Switchblade key wont open!

Im at work and was going to get something from my car when i noticed my switchblade key doesnt open. I push the little silver button, i feel some resistance from the spring like normal, but the key doesnt pop out! Anybody have any suggestions? I have a all night to figure it out before i (try) and go home. Everything else works.. lock, unlock.. just the key doesnt pop out. I'll call the dealer but wondering if you all have any ideas. thanks.(pissed)

If you have some sort of small pick type tool that has a curved end maybe try pushing the button at the same time as prying it out. Or use it to pop the cover off...

Thanks. This worked. This is also the same advice one dealer gave me. The other assumed the spring was broken and i would need a replacement. Push the silver button in, pry key out. Looks like it had some dirt/ sand in it. I blew it out and now flips open quick ready to cut somebody. Glad it works and didnt need to replace it. Thanks.
