Mazda CX 7 2012
I was mowing our yard and it would appear a rock got caught under the blade striking my CX 7 through the front grill.. This is no visible damage that i can see with the naked eye, however for the past 10 minutes there has been a hissing sound and mist/smoke that has been coming from the engine.
It has not been driven since the night prior, sitting for over 12 hours at this point without being turned on.
There is no evidence of liquid coming from the "leak" so i am not sure if i am looking at an A/C damage with leaking freon or possibly something more.
From the looks of condensation it appears to be on the little radiator like object in front of the bigger radiator....
can anyone shed some light on this.
is it driveable to the nearest garage or what?
thanks.

Sounds like your hit your transmission cooler

thanks! that was my thought too based on what was happening and where it appeared to be.

how big a headache would it be to replace it myself?

found the part at rockauto.com for affordable range... have a half decent mechanical ability...
