Help needed with mazda symbol

What it seems to me as far as removing some of the hatch trim, i bet you could probably work the pins out with the badge from the inside... But you have to be more cautious not to break or scratch the trim pieces.

I havent done it personally (mess with the pins) so its just a guess

It doesn't matter. There is still adhesive. The pins are pretty pointless other than allowing you to put the badges back in the OEM placement.
The pins aren't important. The adhesive is.

alright well i know the adhesive will still be there if i heat it up and take it off. so thats all that matters. i just have to heat it upa nd then put it back on.. i dont think theres pins but well have to wait and see. im probably gonna try it all tomorrow. so ill let you know .

i just taped off the car and am spray painting badges directly on, waiting to put 3rd coat on now

your insane. howd you get the tape to be so perfect inside the m and circle?

Tore small small small pieces of painters tape and used a small pocket knife to wedge them in cracks, took bout hour or two...but headed down for coat 4 now

Well... That's one method... Not exactly the smartest one, but it works. It would've taken you a quarter of that time if you just went and used floss to pull off the emblems.

Came out really well, only 2 small overspray spots, not visible unless right up on it
