Most folks went to see this movie thinking it was going to be some type of action, or slasher film. What they got instead was a solid story that truly drew you into the life of Dr. Neville (Will Smith's character). The bad reviews I have seen have been from those with misplaced expectations. It was slow at times, but this was necessary to make the audience understand what is happening, and what has happened. For this movie slow doesn't equal dull, because there was never a dull moment. This is easily one of Smith's best roles in quite a while. If you want a good story, see this movie. If you are looking for instant action, with no plot, go rent a porno.

Hey, I liked Wild Wild West!
And I liked Irobot.

I am Legend was a remake, well actually a re-re-remake
I just did not like the ending. I wanted him to Rambo up and kick some Zombie ass!

Well, I haven't seen Wild Wild West. I might like it if I see it. I was just stating the general consensus. Hell, Independence Day got bad reviews, but kicked-ass in the box office.
