Going to Vegas, want to visit a shooting range

I'm going to Las Vegas in May and I want to visit a shooting range. I live in Canada so it's hard to get access to weapons to shoot. Anyone ever been to any ranges in Vegas and could offer any suggestions? I did a Google search but couldn't find anything useful. Thanks.

If you already know where your staying, you might call and ask them. I've had friends that instead of gambling away their money, they've spent $500 to rent a Viper for the day, and other such things.

good idea SciFi! We plan on staying at the Luxor, I'll shoot them an e-mail and see if they have any ideas. I saw on T.V. can't remember the show but there is one range that will take you in a heuy and you can shoot assault rifles from the copter at targets on the ground, looked like tonnes of fun.

Ya imo, this is by far a better use of your money in some cases. My uncle rented a 355 once... said it was better than gambling and/or "escorts"... lol

Hints about Vegas:

Escorts are not the same ones that are seen on those "cards".

Never pay more than 70.00 for a hotel there, regardless of the day/night.

Go out and buy a red jacket and get a cheap nametag from staples. No need to rent those high price cars when you could just "valet" them.

In the casinos, those guys pushing around those carts, its free money, take as you wish.

I don't think I need to worry about escorts, my fiance and I are coming to Vegas to get married. After, we hop on a bus to L.A. for a cruise home. Maybe I'll do the red jacket and name tag idea so we don't have to get on a bus lol We'll do a cannonball run from Vegas to L.A.

Anyone know how long of a drive it is from Vegas to L.A.?
