Did that anti-fouler help with preventing a CEL?

i havent installed it. but from what im told,the purpose of it is to gain more power by tricking the ECU into thinking it needs to dump more fuel and pull or add timing. or something like that.

but everyone that run catless. clear the codes when they get a CEL. after a while, the ecu learns and the CEL never comes back
