I'm just changing my fuel pump over to a Denso pump. The screen (the little filter on the end of the pump) that came with the Denso is half the length of the stock screen. They are both different material. Can I use the screen that came with the Denso, or do I have to use the stock. The thing I am worried about is that the Denso pump has a much higher flow rate than stock, and I am worried that the stock screen will not allow the fuel to flow as much as the screen on the Denso. But then the Denso screen is half the length. Does the screen have to be a certain length to be able to pick up the fuel?
