FS-DE swap into MSP, how to tap into the oil pan?

Whats up guys. I blew my one of my rods right through the bottom of the pan, and just my luck... it took the main bearing support plate with it. :( I just bought a 2001 626 FS-DE engine, and I was wondering what all needs to be done with it to make it compatible with my 03.5 msp? I know I am going to need to a drain line inlet on the oil pan for the turbo, and that usually requires a new windage plate, or a new mbsp. I need to know if anyone has one with a inlet for the the drain line, or if anyone has any good instructions on how to tap into the oil pan to put the drain inlet on the oil pan. Or does anyone know where to take the engine to get one fabricated
onto the engine. Please let me know what ya'll think. Thanks! :)

Oh and this is what this side of the block and the mbsp looked like afterwards :(

Exactly like your thread title says... TAP the oil pan. What's confusing about this?

Alright, pm'ed. The reason why I ask is I dont know where to tap into it and how big of a hole to put in the oil pan. I also heard you can use a oil filter sandwich to relay the oil back into the oil pan. Is that possible and/or safe for the engine?

replied.

you want a big fat drain line for the turbo drain, i wouldn't use a sammich plate for oil return. you can use the sammich plate for oil supply. my email shows you oil supply, too.

I would just remove the MBSP from the new engine and take it to a shop. Since you have the engine out of the car, I would do it right and just tap where you're supposed to instead of the oil pan.

If i tap into the oil pan compared to the new mbsp, will there be any dangers with running through the oil pan? The spout on the oil pan on the PDF njaremka just sent me looked to be very low and look like the oil might not cycle correctly. But, I might be wrong. I have never tapped into the oil pan before, so I don't really know.

that spot on the oil pan was selected by a very high profile turbo kit supplier. i would have no issue following their recommendation.

that being said, it would be much easier to drill and tap the MBSP and thread in a drain fitting. to mount a fitting to the oil pan would require welding, and involving a shop - unless you have a welder in your garage. adding the fitting to the MBSP could be done in your garage with simple hand tools.

I plan on taking the engine to a shop anyhow to put the fitting on. Im not the best at the "measure twice, cut once" method and I dont want to put a hole in in the engine assembly then figure out that I did it wrong. But what is the best suggestion on where to take the engine to get it tapped and fitted? A welding and fabrication shop, and high-end automotive shop, or.... what?

if you mark the oil pan and supply the fitting, any weld shop can do the work.

it is easier to tap the oil pan, but a better practice to tap the windage tray.
