I have the same bar! Except I painted it black. Shipping should be about $15 or so UPS, just take it and get a quote. Make a custom box out of a larger box like from a Wide Screen or something. Thats what I do when I ship out something like this. Just make it as long as the bar and as wide as the strut brakets.
I modified my brakets though so it could fit perfect with all the other things that attach to the top. Easy to do. Awesome bar, I love mine. GLWS.
