Fram SureDrain Oil Plug

Does anyone have the Fram SureDrain oil plug installed in their P5? If you do, how do you like it and could you advise me of the part number I would need. Thanks.

I wouldn't advise it on the P5 because with it installed, the drain plug will hang very low under the car and that means if you hit something on the road, you can knock it off!

yea, the like to strip out too, get clogged. dont be lazy. its only a 19mm bolt

Thanks for the advise. I have never changed my own oil, but I am going to start doing so. I saw the SureDrain at my local Canadian Tire store and it looked like a good idea. I will be doing it the old fashion way! Thanks for the advise.

I tried one on our old Dodge van and it leaked oil through the plug even with the provided washer.

I had one on my Mystique for roughly 80k miles on it and mine never leaked nor did it get clogged. I did however eas lazy one day and decidded to take it to the local jiffy lube and they wouldnt change my oil becuase of it.
