Exhaust Gasket Material

I have an exhaust leak either between my turbo and exhaust or my straight midpipe and cat-back portion. Apparently the hi-temp silicone I used before didn't hold to well. Anyone have any suggestions as to what would be the best stuff to seal an exhaust? Im thinking the leak is whats causing my ECU to throw the P0171 code since to much air is flowing past the 2nd O2 sensor. Thanks for the help.

go to the dealer and buy the actual gasket for that part
silicon will always burn off

The only issue with the gasket issue is its a custom exhaust so I would need to either get something custom or use something from pepboys, unless the stock gasket will work with a custom exhaust.
