ETS TMIC and AEM Intake MS3 f/s

As the title says I have a 3.5" ETS top mount for sale. It hasn't hit the firewall for me and has worked extremely well. Cooling wise it has worked as well as my front mount.

Also for sale is an AEM cai. It's identical to the mazdaspeed unit only the AEM has a massive dryflow filter. This unit has worked very well and easy to maintain. Prefilter also included

Did you grind the back of the plate? If the guys say Firewall is it due to the length of the TMIC or the actual increase in height from 3.25 to 3.5"? If the height, was it hitting for some guys then on the inside of the bonnet?
